About Kagenyo
Kagenyo is a moonlit 2D ninja action platformer. An army of ink shadows has swallowed ten lands, and Ren, the red-scarfed ninja, races from the bamboo groves to the Shadow Citadel to take them back.
Carve through foes with a 3-hit dagger combo, flips, wall jumps, dash strikes, crouching and sliding, throwing tools and Ninjutsu. Strike an enemy from behind before it notices you and a Shadow Kill drops it in one hit.
There is nothing to install and no sign-up required. Your progress saves automatically, and signing in with Google lets you continue on any device.
How to Play

Press Play Now to start. The first stage teaches the basic moves with on-screen prompts.

Reach the exit banner at the end of each stage to clear it. Find all three hidden golden scrolls, keep your health and beat the clock to earn stars.

Every tenth stage ends with that land's guardian boss. Watch for the wind-up before each attack, dodge, then strike back.

Spend coins in the Arsenal on blades, tools and charms, and train Vitality, Blade Mastery, Inner Ki, Tool Pouch and Shadow Step at the Dojo.

As you progress you unlock the Shadow Road, Dojo Siege, the Boss Gauntlet and the Daily Trial and Weekly Siege. Your best runs go on the leaderboard.

Tips
- Hit an enemy from behind while it is facing away for an instant Shadow Kill.
- You cannot be hurt while dashing, so dash straight through danger.
- Crouch under high arrows and shots, and slide through low gaps.
- Save your Ki and unleash Ninjutsu when the screen is crowded.
- Wall-slide and wall-jump to reach scrolls hidden up high.
